MMOexp Diablo 4: Sorcerer Shows Signs
Whirlwind Barbarian also remains highly competitive. Although it trails behind the top-performing Summoner setup, improvements to Mythic Uniques and enhancements to Whirlwind-focused items keep the iconic spinning playstyle relevant. Additional builds like Flame Charge also remain viable, giving Barbarian one of Diablo 4 Gold the healthiest build varieties heading into Season 14.
Necromancer Minions Could Finally Return to the Spotlight
Necromancer's highest PTR clear currently stands at 120, and perhaps the biggest surprise is the return of dedicated minion builds.
Instead of Blood Wave dominating the rankings, several top clears are relying heavily on Golems, skeletal minions, and Army of the Dead. This represents a significant shift from recent seasons and could be exactly the variety many Necromancer players have been hoping for.
The new Mythic versions of existing Unique items appear to be supporting these summoner-focused setups, giving minion builds additional scaling opportunities. If Blizzard avoids major nerfs before launch, Season 14 may finally allow summoner Necromancers to compete at the highest levels once again.
Sorcerer Shows Signs of Greater Build Diversity
Sorcerer reached a top Tower clear of 116, but the most interesting part is how those clears were achieved.
For much of Season 13, Unstable Currents dominated the class. Whether players chose Ball Lightning, Chain Lightning, or other variants, most top Sorcerer builds revolved around the same core mechanic.
The PTR, however, tells a different story. Hydra builds have emerged among the highest clears, offering a refreshing alternative to the familiar lightning-focused gameplay. While Unstable Currents remains competitive and still appears near the top of the rankings, Hydra's success suggests Blizzard may have opened the door for cheap Diablo 4 Gold more meaningful build diversity.
