U4GM Explains Why Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Cars Matter
You don't need to grind through a long checklist before chasing Treasure Cars in Forza Horizon 6. As soon as free roam opens, you can start poking around the map, saving your FH6 Credits for upgrades while these hidden rides wait out in the world. They're not Barn Finds, and they're not regular collectibles either. There's no early map icon, no big glowing hint, and no level gate tied to some "discover the region" milestone. If you get close enough, Mei cuts in with a rumor, and the car gets added to your Treasure Cars list.
How the hunt actually works
Each region has one Treasure Car, so there are nine in total. The trick is that the game wants you to explore properly, not just follow a marker from the start. You drive near the right area, trigger the rumor, then collect the vehicle with a prompt and a short scene. After that, it's yours to drive or send to storage. If you'd rather skip the wandering, the paid Treasure Map can reveal the spots at once, but honestly, half the fun is sniffing them out. Drone mode helps a lot too. Tap down on the D-pad, then up, and you can scan awkward places like woods, mountain roads, coastal paths, and railway lines without smashing through every tree in sight.
City streets, golf roads, and tower country
The 1991 Nissan Figaro sits in Tokyo City, down on the southern coast. Use the western bridge toward Drift Club island as your anchor, then follow the shoreline east until a small parking area comes into view. In Minamino, the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is much easier to spot. Head for the golf course entrance, find the clubhouse and the 365 store, then swing around behind the shop near the dirt event space. Ohtani's 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE is fussier. Look near the western edge by Shimanoyama for the tower group with three red towers, one big white tower, and a wooden house. If the white tower's missing, you're probably at the wrong cluster.
Mountains, coastlines, and railway clues
The 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo is tucked up in northeast Ito, around the wind farm. Climb the dirt route past the Toyota 2000GT Barn Find area and watch for railings, service boxes, and a turbine base southwest of the drift zone. The 1987 Porsche 959 is parked outside the 365 store in Narai-Juku, northwest of Shimanoyama Stadium, so it's one of the kinder finds. For the 2005 Ford GT, check far southeast Nangan. From the coastal road, look for a narrow trail by a yellow roadside sign that leads toward an overlook facing Tokyo City. The 1981 BMW M1 uses Hokubu's railway as the giveaway. Follow the tracks north toward the farmland near Takashiro, close to the bridge span and flower fields.
Waterfalls, snow roads, and one last tip
Takashiro's 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR is beside the waterfall stream on the temple route. Pass the torii gate, stay on the dirt road, and keep going toward the river near the Temple Run-Up speed zone. The 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale waits in snowy Sotoyama along the Tateyama Alpine pass. Start around Hakusan Mountain Lodge, head west, and check the roadside lodge on the right. As a professional platform for buying game currency and items, U4GM is convenient for players who want to save time, and you can buy FH6 Credits in u4gm if you want more freedom to tune, upgrade, and enjoy these Treasure Cars once they're in your garage.
